So I got a new computer and I want some upgrades for it. (i will put link at bottom). I just wanted to know what upgrades I could get. Like what is the fastest RAM i can upgrade to. or what is the fasest cpu/apu i can upgrade to and anything else that will make my computer faster. Please be specific as i dont know a lot about computers. A link to the product upgrade would be very helpful. thanks.

the laptop already has 6GB RAM, i don see why he needs more :S

@OP: get an SSD. even a cheap one will do you wonders. :) i got mine and i find that even at 1.2GHz of CPU i am still smooth browsing and office work. so i keep it at 1.2GHz to improve battery and heat output :)
In theory, you should be able to upgrade the APU to an A10-5750M which has the same TDP as the A8-4500M but that would be dependent upon support from HP, the graphics is embedded in the APU. Personally, I would be looking at the following for upgrades... 1) Swap current HDD for an SSD (it'll make the most marked difference IMO), 2) Take both ram sticks out and replace with 2x4GB modules for 8GB of ram (not really needed but may help in some situations). I really wouldn't look to upgrade the APU at this time but it may be an option for the future. You may also be able to upgrade the battery for a higher cell count one which should give you more battery life (this one I'm not so sure of).

In many systems, opening the case does not void the warranty but, damaging anything while inside (or otherwise) would be user induced damage and of course would void any warranty... I don't understand the rest of this statement though

Well, all of the above post has clearly answered your questions. If you have any query then give me a shout.

You may wanna check these sites for compatible memory if you haven't upgrade as of yet.
crucial, kingston, memorystock or search in Newegg or Amazon with the keyword as "4GB PC3-10600 SODIMM" memory. Hope that helps your cause.
