Best cheap monitor for gaming.

Solution
The BenQ does look best interms of the numbers, so I would recommend one EXCEPT that I bought the 24" version of that model and I wasn't impressed at all. Contrast ratio was nothing like as good as my old monitor and response wasn't very fast either, so I sent it back. So that's why I wouldn't recommend the BenQ - it's not as good as the numbers make it sound. I'd take the HP.

Only the asus VS229H is available and it is 50€ more so I can't have it.

Can you suggest one of those? My only interest is gaming and the contrast it should have(my current laptop monitor has no contrast, I can't see when the light is hitting even when I close the curtains)

So, I've been looking and only this two have dvi outputs.

BENQ LED GW2255 FULLHD 6MS - dvi-i
HP MONITOR LED 2211X FULLHD 5MS - dvi-d

They have the same brightness, same dot pitch

Benq wins at contrast(3.000 static 20.000.000 dynamic vs 1.000 static 3.000.000 dynamic) and viewing angle(178º 178º vs 170º 160º).
HP wins at response time (5ms vs 6ms)

Which one wins? Or do you think the other ones are better?

Thanks. The benq is only better in numbers that I don't care much about and not by that far.
The most important for me is resolution, response time and brightness. In which the hp is in advantage.
And it has digital only output.

Hands down to hp.

Thanks for the help
