Hey everybody, this is my first build and I would like some opinions on it. This build will be (hopefully) under $1700. Some things to know are that I don't really care for an SSD, I plan on OC, I'm using Windows 7, and I also plan on doing CrossFireX at a later date. Thanks for the help! Solution
not very optimized. ill step in

-the i5 4670k is better for gaming
-no reason to get cheap liquid coolers
-a ROG board is definitely not needed
-fast ram is utterly useless and on amd platforms, there is a large chance that you cant even run it
-i included a large SSD. makes your computing experience completely different
-crossfire has a major issue with runt frames. if you were only planning to run 1 card, it would be fine however
-better case
-the wattage is overkill
-i personally would get a screen that looks much more vibrant than a screen that is fast. up to you to decide

Yeah, I was looking at the 850W version but the 1000W version is $20 more and it comes in a bundle with my processor.

Solution
-the 4770k is utterly useless in gaming. forget it
-id still make the change to the phanteks no matter how much l like noctua.
-the gaming board doesnt come close to the gigabyte if you want quality
-my case is still built better than yours and the fact that you will never need a full tower completely mitigates the reason of getting a full tower
-i personally would get the xfx due to the full modular all black cables and the silent fan mode, but the capstone is still pretty good
-i wouldnt get a fast and crappy TN panel
