Having trouble setting up a new PC. After installing Windows 7 Home Premium x64, the monitor shuts off just before the sign on window should appear. It will boot fine using safe mode. It's motherboard is a ZOTAC 880G Motherboard with integrated AMD Radeon HD 4250 Graphics. Tried the AMD Radeon HD 4250 Graphics driver on the included CD and downloaded the latest driver. Also downloaded and installed the latest monitor driver. No luck, it still shuts off just before the log in screen. Monitor is a Dell E228WFP taken from a Zotac ZBOX Plus ZBOX-ID80-PLUS-U Nettop Computer. I can uninstall the AMD Radeon HD 4250 Graphics software & driver using the device manager and it will boot without a driver, get a warning that I need to update the graphics driver. Even without installing or updating the driver, the monitor will shut off just before the log in screen after restarting the computer. Would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

I booted up using the latest ATI drivers and as before the monitor shut off just before the log in screen. However, after sitting idle it went into sleep mode. When I woke it up, the monitor came on, but still shuts off just before the log in screen when rebooting.

Memory is •4GB DDR2 800 Mhz Ram

I'm physically unable (quadriplegia) of re-seating the RAM, but will ask someone to help me with it later today.

Yeah, that's beginning to look like the only option. I've contacted the seller, so far their only suggestion is to keep reinstalling Windows. I'm going to try another few monitors today.
