Im going to buy a ASUS GTX 770 thanks to matto17secs and I want to future proof it, OC it, and play heavily modified games on it. When will I be able to get the 4GB version?

EVGA, Gigabyte, and Zotac have theirs out so Asus shouldn't be far behind. If you really wanted to get a card now, the Gigabyte Windforce x3 with a factory overclock of 1137 MHz is pretty nice and very quiet. That's almost as high an overclock as the Inno3d card.

Actually, checking on Asus' site, they don't even have a 4GB version listed, so it may be a little while.

Future proofing doesn't exist and theres only really one game you can mod to eat up 2GB, which is Skyrim. Unless you are running triple monitors you don't need the 4GB version, and even then its not worth it unless you are SLI-ing them because you'd have to turn down ingame settings to get games to run at that resolution, dropping VRAM usage.

I have had a GIGABYTE WindForce 3X GTX 670@ 1200MHz and memory @1502.9MHz. I monitered with GPU-Z BTW. I paid over $470 for it, ended up selling for $280. I don't want to have to do that anymore. Today I shipped out the card, so Im on my OCed HD 3000 with my 2600K@4.43GHz

I have a friend who is crazy good at programming and he makes some of th best, and I mean most sophisticated ENBs for GTA. With his 4K textures, and 4K skydome, and a bunch of codes for the ENB. His configs, when extreme, can hit more than 2GB. He does skyrim too, but Im not a big fan, and I just sold my 670 WindForce
