I have the Asrock z77 extreme4. Do I need to use the driver disk or can I enable the lan another way? If there are no adware(or whatever it's called) the disk will be fine. Disk or another way? Thanking the community again for getting me up on my 1st build(friggin' awesome!).

Solution
I always install the drivers off the disk, establish a restore pointy and them immediately upgrade with latest drivers from web site. This comes in especially handy when ya buy "enthusiast" boards where ya get utilities and software with a key code. The key code ONLY works with the version on the CD

It's not recognizing my network adapter though, sorry wasn't clearer on that. This is my 1st install ever on a new build. I'm poppin' cherries left and right. :/

Ok, I got the drivers downloaded and now have a black boarder around my screen? I have Powercolor hd 7870 myst. I downloaded driver from AMD and also have a driver downloading from Powercolor themselves but is an hour download. Is there an adjustment I'm missing somewhere?

Ok, I got Catalyst installed and adjusted screen, running very nice now!
