I have a amd64x2 4800 ati 3870 4g ddr2 800 ram that i am gaming now so would like somewhat of an upgrade from that... have to give this one to the ex wife

At that price range you are better off getting a A10 processor which has a great GPU. Also, by getting 2133 RAM instead of 1600 you'll game way better with it. The A10 is a special CPU designed for budget builds and gaming. The A10 onboard GPU is like a 6670.
