hi ,
i have facing a problem on my hp i3 laptop . in device manger pci simple communication controller have not been installed . also i can not reduce brightness of my laptop

You need to install drivers including a driver or software package for the extra key commands to support the brightness settings.

Please goto the HP support site to get them.

the PCI controller drivers may be included with the chipset drivers, but sometimes combination units will do this too.
