Hey guys! Recently got more into PC gaming, and I'm looking to make the move from a single GPU to a multiple GPU set up. However, I'm a bit of a noob, and need help with motherboards. My current motherboard- a Sandy Bridge Intel i7-2600k 3.4 ghz- can only accommodate one GPU at the moment, so I'm going to have to buy a new one. I have two questions:

1. What would you guys consider the best motherboard?
2. Do I need to change the CPU at all? If so, what would be the best CPU?

In terms of money, I don't want to go mad and spend a fortune on one, I'd just like a motherboard that could hold two nVidia cards.

Solution

Agreed. That or the MSI Z87-G45.
