i have a h8-1214 case and the mobo contained in the h8-1214 M3970AM-HP (Angelica)a tad bigger then the new one, i got most connections connected and the new mobo BIOSTAR B75MU3+ LGA 1155 Intel B75 seems to have a connector called (F_panal)"this is where it goes to plug in on the original board" not able to be in reach with the new mobo in place? am i just unlucky and this wont work?

That happens occasionally, can of course change the case, or the mobo, or head to a hardware store and pick up some wire and telephone wire type push in crimp connectors and extend the wires to your front panel connectors, cut the wires 1 at a timime in the middle and spice in a few inches of wire you bought.

If it's bout the front panel (HDD, power LEDs, power and reset switches), you can use extension cables (something similar to http://quietpc.co.uk/na-front-panel-ss ).

Not sure why they put such short wires in some, on the other hand have seen cases that you could string Xmas light with all the wire they have in them
