ocz agility 3 underperforming?

hey everyone im just wondering if you could take a look at some benchmarks for me. the solid state drive i bought recently doesnt seem to be performing as well as it should. or i beleive anyways. the SSD has windows installed on it. which i know will make a bit of a difference. but is there anything i can do to improve it? trims are enabled and it is properly alligned which i used paragon alignment tool for.

My OCZ VERTEC 3 DIED JUST AFTER 7 months is this a trend with OCZ SSD drives? something to consider when asking these questions.
go to there web page and see if you have the latest firmware for it. and good luck.

yeah i also have the latest firmware. im going to see if ocz will replace it but im doubtful as i dont have the receipt. i bought it used. still outperforming my old hard drive though

tried following a ssd tweak guide and windows is faster to load but it seems that the bench's are pretty close to the same

is it possible i have the sata drive plugged into the wrong sata port. i have the gigabyte ga-x79 with a gsata3 and a sata3 port. while its currently plugged into the gsata 3 port

Correct. Plug the drive into the Intel SATA 3 (6Gb/s) port and your benchmark results will improve.

Also FYI, advertised speeds for your drive using AS-SSD are up to 190MB/s Read and 210MB/s Write. If you are looking for the advertised 525MB/s Read and 500MB/s Write then you have to benchmark with ATTO software.
