I changed my desktop name and my files are all gone!

Ok so before, me and my lil' sis shared the same desktop until my dad gave her, her very own desktop and then I thought of changing our-used-to-be-desktop name because it has my name and her name in it and if I rased my sisters name in the desktop name then it will mean that its mine only, so I hanged it. The next day,I opened the coputer and went to my desktop just to find all my files are gone! So please please please PLEASE help me! I really want my files back!! Thank you so much :(

Go to My Computer then Documents and Settings and in there somewhere will be a set of folders, possibly under your sister's names, with your files in them. You would have to have deleted the account and accepted the warning to delete files as well to have got rid of them so they will be in there.
