Need urgent advice over gaming graphics!!

AMD 8320FX processor
8GB DDR3 RAM
ASUS 660Ti Graphic card

Can I run Crysis 3. In how much FPS can I run this game. Plus what is the maximum resolution or details that I can have in this game. Please HELP!!!

no clue. you told us nothing about your monitor or resolutions. at 1080p you should be able to get 30fps on ultra... depending on the frame pacing this could look really smooth or choppy as sin. your bottleneck is most certainly your gpu for crysis3, as crysis3 is about the only game i've seen that will take advantage of 8 threads/cores durring gameplay, so your cpu is actually ideal for it.

Short answer is to google "660Ti benchmarks" you will find all sorts of reviews and Im sure the FPS you can expect for Crysis 3 as well as other games. I can tell you on ultra settings a GTX680 will still drop under 60 FPS quite a bit.

yeah. you'll just want to look for gpu benches. the 8 core cpu will not bottleneck you in crysis3, but any gpu you get will. so look at the gpu benches and find a gpu that's playable at the resolutions you're planning to play.

we don't know what resolution he's gonna play at. OP still hasn't answered that most basic question. I expect he'll have some problems but most benches seem to indicate around 30fps is possible on the highest settings

I would say 30FPS avg sounds good BUT if thats an avag that means it spends some time above that AND a good amount of time below that. And I would say if it is more than the rare few second pop down below 30FPS then its not playable If he is playing at 1080P I have seen my Ram usage go past 2gb so that may be an issue as well. I would say a 680 is the minimum to play Crysis on Max settings. Not that other cards cant run it at those settings but I dont think the experience would be worth keeping the settings that high.

I think thanks to the 3gb of ram a 7950 should manage too.
