Have previously posted about not being able to remove fonts. Now I have the same problem with a couple of files that have previously been saved to my Desktop iuntil I could deal with them. I have tried right-clicking>>>delete ...dragging to the bin ...downloading Unlocker ... renaming them, etc., etc., and they just don't react to any attempt to delete. Once again, any ideas please ...anyone?

In your other thread, I've suggested malware might be causing you problems. Scan with whatever protection you have and post back the results.

I think it best to stick to one thread on these issues so I'll close the other to new posts. It will remain visible and I'll cross-reference it with this one.

Have managed to solve the problems of the 'non-existent' files stuck on my desktop by downloading Unlocker. Although, like everything else I tried, it initially came up with the information that it couldn't find an unlocking handle, it then said it could take other action, including deletion...and it did! Weird though considering the files didn't officially exist according to all the information I got.
