win 8 not booting after bios update.

i have updated the bios for my windows 8 pc. it was successfull but its not booting after restart. someone help...
MY desktop runs on intel 7 series motherboard with i3 processor and 6gb ram. I can go to bios setup. tried changing sata controller to IDE from ACHI. still not booting.

Okay, then this means your BIOS flash was not successful. Had your BIOS flashed properly, you should complete the POST. getting stuck at the Intel logo screen means the BIOS is probably corrupted.

Your motherboard manual will have something known as jumper settings. Read those up and see if you can boot up your system.

NO. I didn't get any messages after disconnecting hard drive. it freezes in the INTEL screen itself.

My motherboard no. is DH61WW but now i can see the no. DH61BE in the bios setting. i think i have done something terribly wrong. what should i do now to recover my computer.?
