Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. Ideally I would like to be able to max out settings in new games at 1920 x 1200, fit the card in my Antec Three Hundred case and for the card to be as quiet as possible.

My current setup is:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS
    Dell 2408WFP monitor
    Antec Three Hundred case
750W Be Quiet Dark Power Pro power supply
    6 GB Corsair DDR3 RAM
    Gigabyte EX58-UD4 motherboard
1 GB Sapphire HD 4890 graphics card
    Intel Core i7 920 D0 processor
640 GB Western Digital Caviar Black hard drive
    Samsung SH-223B optical drive

I'm in the UK, by the way.

I would appreciate any suggestions anyone has.

Thanks for your reply. I've been looking at 7970s and 770s. I'm happy to pay those sort of prices, but obviously don't want to waste money! Would those cards be overkill? Does anyone have any particular preference?

no the hd7970 would be good, u can get ot within 330$ and it comes with 4 free games. go for it :)
the gtx770 is not that much better than the hd7970 and is overpriced. aslo the performance of the hd7970 and the gtx770 depends on the games u are playing.
