i got a corsair carbide 400R a few days ago and notice that the dock between are not normal 3pin. if anyone else owns the same case can anyone recommend how to attach more fans to the front panel or recommend any other ways for more fans
Most large case fan (120mm) now connect to the psu using the 4 flat pin molex connectors. The only fan connected to my motherboard is the CPU heatsink, my other 3 blue led fans are on the molex connectors.
If you connect directly to the mobo you can control fan speeds right? Don't think you can do it if you plug the fan straight to the psu.

Most case fans are meant to run at one constant idle speed to keep steady air flow. They wont be running at dynamic speeds but that is actually better.
