I noticed that my computer had begun to make too much noise for comfort and I decided that it was probably time to clean it for dust and such. However after making sure everything was dust-free the graphics card fan went nuts even on idle for no apparent reason (no games or anything like that running in the background)
I installed Afterburner so I could monitor the temps and fan speeds and noticed the Gpu usage was around 98-99% constantly with lowest temps around 75. I tried reinstalling drivers a couple of times and it actually worked, usage went down to levels you would expect. Booting up the computer later on the problem emerged once again, and after a couple of tries again I managed to solve the problem by reinstalling the driver, I'm quite sure that's no a permanent solution and I'm looking for answers to what might be the cause. I've reapplied thermal paste, so that is not a problem either. I'm running 13.6 beta drivers (only that driver managed to solve the problem, 13.5 didn't) and Win 7 ultimate 64 bit.

I wonder if you got a bit too violent with the cleaning? Used an air can?

Bitcoin-miner virus was the issue, removed it and the issue along with it.
