Hi,

I had a question about this mobo, Asrock 990FX Extreme3,is this a good choice for my FX8350 AM3+ ? I also wanted to overclock my cpu, so is this a good motherboard or should I take another one ?

Solution
It's okay-ish, but it does only have 4+1 power phases. That's a bit on the low side for overclocking an FX-8350. If you don't need the ability to run two graphics cards in SLI/Crossfire, you could get a Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 instead, it costs about the same and has twice as many power phases.

Or if you want both good overclocking performance and good SLI/Crossfire options, you could get an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0 or Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3. They cost a bit more though.
