Which one of this sets would be the best for gaming only?

I don't intend to upgrade for many years.

Need the set that can provide me the most fps in general since I play all types of games (mostly new ones).

I want a build to handle future games at playable fps even if I have to lower the graphics quality to the minimum. I just want to have playable fps.

Which one of these would give me the best gaming performance for now and for the future?

- i5-3470 + gtx760

- OC'ed i5-3570k + gtx650ti/hd7850 1GB (maybe club3d 2GB one)

- not-OC'ed i5-3570k + hd7870xt

- OC'ed fx6300 + gtx760

- not-OC'ed fx6300 + gtx660ti/hd7950

- OC'ed fx8350 + hd7850

- not-OC'ed fx8350 + hd7870xt

Don't say things like "you should save money and buy 3570k and hd7950 instead"

Thanks!

PS: When I say OC'ed is when it has a proper overclocking mobo and cooling. Not OC'ed has budget mobo and has no cooling.

Solution

Before he does that, you go to school.

The price equivalent to the ivy bridge ones have lower performance.

For example i5 3470 is better than i5 4430, both 175€

Oh, it's just not a great idea trying to be future proof with a year-old cpu in my opinion, but in this case it makes sense I suppose. So I still say first option, as the main part of gaming is the graphics card and the 760 is a great one for the price.

Dude... what are you smoking? There's absolutely no reason to buy an i7-3770k for gaming. It performs EXACTLY the same as an i5-3570k does, but costs $100 more.

I don't remember saying i7 was an option and I don't remember saying I dont care about bucks.
Just choose one of those please, they are all the same price.

All the sets are the same price so just choose the best in gaming performance. And I need this fast, I want to order the parts today.

Thanks

The i5 and GTX 760 would be best for gaming.

Because its more expensive and I would have to get a cheaper gpu, like a gtx 650. I don't think its better.

Why buy an i7 and then have a cheaper gpu? Is that future proof?

Probably yes, since no one answers the question. :)

I said I don't intend on upgrading my build for many years and since games are more gpu intensive I don't think that would be a good idea. Can you just choose from one of those sets?

I don't even understand what you write. But I think you were trying to say to go intel over amd.
Thanks for the info. But can you just choose one of the sets?

Thanks. i5+760 is winning.

WHY DON'T YOU JUST CHOOSE ONE OF THOSE SETS?

I don't have the money to buy i5 3570k + gtx760, so I didn't included it into option.

What don't you get from that?

Just forget it.

Why not? From what I've seen locked i5 still have better performance in games than 6300 overclock to hell.

Just look at the difference, even if overclocked it cant reach the i5 3470.

I'm going to pick this as best answer!

And its fair because you were the one to say i5+gtx760
