Should I buy this card? Please help

So recently i found a radeon 7970 used for $310. Im skeptical on buying it for obvious reasons. The seller says it's like new but I'm still worried. Should I go for it or should i buy a brand new radeon 7950 for 300?

I would buy the brand new radeon 7950 for 300 because it will run all games now, and in the future to come on max setting with ease. When you buy the radeon 7950 you get free games like hitman, and farcry 3. You also wont have to worry about the graphics card having technical issues.
