Asus Xonar DG drivers, which one?

Solution
Oops, msiread the driver dates: the one on top is newer (marked WHQL). The other one is from 2011 - that must have been the original driver. It should be fine to use the newer (2013) one regardless. They both appear to be certified.

There's actually not much of a difference, looking more closely. The 2013 release states that the language support for Japanese and Russian was modified. Functionally there are no other changes noted compared to the earlier release.

LOL. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe the heat wave up here is melting my brain cells.
WHQL is the latest "stable" release, that is, it has been tested and verified by Microsoft (earned WHQL certification from MS). The other listed driver has a newer version number, but isn't certified. You can't run two drivers at once; installing the newer non-certified driver would replace the earlier, certified driver.

Your computer won't melt down if you install the non-certified driver, but you won't be insured against potential bugs.

BTW, I have almost the same card (the PCI-express version). IT sounds awesome.

Thanks, i ended up installing the older one because it looked more legit... stupid sounding doesn't it.. haha. I'll install the newer one.

I'm not much of a music person but i can say that i have noticed a difference with the new card. I'm coming from onboard audio. I wanted the pcie version but it costed alittle more. Funny enough this card when i got it, didn't fully seat into the pci slot until i physically modified the bracket to allow more insertion.

PS. Heat and rain= me cutting the grass too much.. hate it haha.
