I am planning on getting another zotac gtx 770 2gb for my SLI but wondering if my old motherboard can handle it or will bottleneck my gtx770s?

Solution
From what I have read on PCI-Express 2.0 vs 3.0 together with SLI across 8 lanes (x8/x8)... it doesn't appear to be the performance bottleneck you might have thought it could be. Obviously there is some variation depending on your setup, but for most situations the performance loss is relatively low. Could be as little as 5%, potentially as much as 15%. Unless you are looking at 3 way SLI Titans playing at a large resolution, at this stage it doesn't appear to be much of a factor. I haven't seen anything specifically on the gtx 7xx series, but given that there is basically no new tech involved with this gen of cards I would imagine the information is still relevant.

hey I just got my 770s last week on p8p67 m pro and im happy although pci 2.0 is bottlenecking slightly games are fine but does affect benchmarks pci e 2.0 memory clock is locked at 5.0 ghz and 770s have memory clock of 7 ghz >>http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/190 - Look in the bottom at the charts
so its still a good setup but worth noting have fun :)
