I have just ordered a new graphics card and power supply, and im wondering if my setup will run these new games on max or close to max settings in 1080p.

My Setup:

Processor: AMD 4100 Quad core

Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 760 2GB (NEW)

Power Supply: Corsair CX500 (NEW)

RAM: 8GB of memory

Hard Drive: 1TB Hard Drive

Give me your opinions :)

Skyrim should run just fine on max settings. You'll definitely have to turn some settings down in Metro Last Light. And as for Far Cry 3, I expect you'll be able to play on mostly high settings, but you may have to turn a couple things down in order to reach 60 fps.

Thank you very much :) , I was just wondering because i haven't gotten the graphics card and power supply yet, but it should come tomorrow, and eventually i willl be upgrading my processor which should help speed things up a little bit :)

No problem; glad I could help. And yup, your processor is a potential bottleneck. I expect once you upgrade your processor you should be able to run Far Cry 3 and Metro much closer to max settings

Depending on what motherboard you have, I would say the FX 6300 or FX 8350 would be great choices.

The FX 6300 would be a great choice. Make sure you are running the latest and most stable BIOS. And if you check Newegg's webpage, it specifies which CPUs are supported. Here's a link:
