I just got a new rig,and for the immediate future im gonna have to use my 32' LCD tv as a display. Its primarly gonna be used for gaming and my Graphics chip will be a 660 with outputs for DVI-D,HDMI, and DVI-i

My tv is only 1080i and has connections for VGA(PC channel) and HDMI ports

Currently im using the basic Mobo display out and have tried VGA and HDMI out.

On VGA the display runs fine at 1280x768 @60hz,text very easy to read ect although when i try putting it up to 1366x768 i get no signal(ie the TV cant display that output)

The hdmi connection does work and displays at 1900x1080 buts its in Interleaving (@25Hz) and not at proper 1080p so text is rather fuzzy and it seems sort of impractical for general use,but im unsure of how it will fare while gaming.

I saw in another topic that nvidia control panel can help with 1080i Tv displays(at least removing the black border round the desktop)

Anyone give me some advice? Is their a combo of setings that will give me all round decent image quality with HDMI connection

or am i best just using a DVI >VGA adaptor not geting an output above 1280x720( the image is perfectly adaquete but it would be so much better if i could kick it up to 1366x768)

Edit; Prob worth pointing out i dont require any audio output from the TV

Solution
Connect using the HDMI. Your TV's native resolution should be 1280x720, so set the graphics card to that. Anything different and you'll get a small image, fuzzy image, overlapping edge image, etc.

Avoid the VGA at all costs. Analog only makes things worse.
