I saw that someone posted that they got their quadro 110m to work with windows 8, on the 32 bit version. Any idea which driver and how to get it working on the x64 version of windows 8? I'm not used to struggling to find an answer, but it's leaving me baffled.

Shaun, that driver set tells me I don't have any compatible hardware. Which is true of all recent NVidia drivers. I think they stopped including the 110M in version 179.48 (or was it .68, cant remember atm). And every version I tried prior to that was telling me that the software was designed for Windows Vista and won't let the install continue. And Apache, I am quite aware the drivers should be cross compatible, but they really haven't been.

Since this on a Dell D620, I went digging for a Vista Video driver which they did have (a dell variation of Nvidia driver 97.xx) and I downloaded that and installed it. That installation did completed. I booted up to a blank screen afterwards. And the following reboot as well. After a 3rd reboot and my resignation to hang it up for the evening since I was getting tired, it miraculously gave me the Win8 login screen. I checked the Device manager and it's showing up with the proper video device name and everything.

The problems at this point is that it will occasionally hang with a blank screen on boot up. Rebooting seems to correct the issue and give me the login screen. I also, cannot access some of the native apps, such as the Weather App, People etc, it just won't display them properly, leaving me with a blank screen. If I hit the Windows button, it takes me back to the desktop without issue.

It's not quite right, but it is somewhat working and is displaying at the optimal resolution for the monitor. In fact I am replying from it right now. Yes, I know I'm working with a 6 year old laptop, but I was hoping to use this machine as my physical Windows 8 test machine, because I'm honestly not ready to migrate my 4 desktops and my other two laptops in my home to 8 full time. I have been running a copy of Win 8 on a VM for a few months now, but wanted to move it on to some ACTUAL hardware for further testing.
