Can I use an HP Pavilion g7-2269wm AMD Quad Core A8-4500M for Civ V? I don't want to go buying the game & then not have the power to run it

Well... I honestly don't know. Someone can shine a better light on this... but that 8core CPU @ 1.9GHz is like the furthest thing from a gaming CPU in my eyes. Such a low clock really does you no good in the world of multiplayer games... I think you'd have better success with a single core CPU @ a high clock rate than a multi core at a low clock... like I said, someone can shed light on this. Bottom line, you can probably run the game. The game will likely run, but I can't imagine it will be quick at all.
