DVI-D (Single Link) cable on an overclocked 73Hz monitor?

Solution
The cable isn't usually the problem.
- They should be tested to be good at above 70 Hz, so it might be hit or miss.

If you have isolated it to the cable then get one that you know can handle closer to 85 Hz refresh rates.

I'm currently using the monitor right now, plug the DVI-D single link to my GPU and right now it's working. So as long as there's no flickering issues on the monitor, the refresh rate is fine and the cable can handle the bandwidth right?
