There is no sound coming from the onboard sound (either with or without headphones plugged in). I believe that I have the latest driver for it. Does anyone know of a solution? It acts like it's working fine, it's just that there is absolutely no sound coming.

Here is a picture of my motherboard, so you guys can make sure everything regarding audio is plugged in (HD audio cable is on the bottom left).

ANd here is a view of the Audio Manager, everything is grayed out except for Digital

I'm desperate here, so any help is appreciated!

EDIT: Apparently embedding isn't working, This is the picture of my motherboard: http://imgur.com/SsJyAvr

Solution
Keep it on 24bit - 44100Hz
Make sure everything between your headphones and computer connection is all hooked up right.

I had a hard time plugging in my optical audio cable, it wants to fall out, but my other digital audio connectors around the house are fine. I had to shove it in there fairly hard and raise the cable above the computer and tape it to my stand to keep it from wanting to fallout.
This problem also at first made me think my MOBO wasn't working correctly either. Then while wearing the heaphones and playing some audio I played with the wire and found that was my problem.

How is your boards inputs, nice and snug? I had to even shove the ethernet cord much harder than most devices.

Changing the Audio didn't work, I originally used MSI Live Update to install all the drivers/BIOS information for the computer, it's downloading a driver for RealTek, I'll post back with the results

Make sure audio drivers are up-to-date and just plug in your headphones. should work after that

Lol more basic instructions. Are they on? I actually had a similar problem with my first PC build, I turned it on and the screen was blank. I was freaking out, searching for everything. Restarted it and it worked like it should.
