I have a Dell Optiplex 755 in which I added a Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001. I'm running XP. I had it working fine. Recently I had a laptop hard drive go bad. I pulled out the SATA cable for the Seagate and connected it to this hard drive to see if I could find any files on it.
Now I can't get the bios to recognize the drive. I get a port 02 hard disk reset failed. I get the same thing when I switch ports or cables.
Anyone have any ideas?
