I'm planning on building a gaming setup. Meaning the pc, keyboard, mouse, monitor, router, etc. So my main question is what is the cheapest possible setup? Minimum being a pc build running all modern games at max settings. A 1080p monitor, and any mice or keyboard you suggest. I know its not really budget friendly I just want to know what I'm getting myself into. Thank you ahead of time.

At max settings, you're looking at roughly 1300 dollars. It will get a bit more expensive if you want a cpu and motherboard for overclocking.

cheapest and maximum should not be in the same sentence together.

if your looking for cheap gaming build, look at AMD APU Trinity or Richland processors, and purchase 120 US dollar APU + 80 USD mobo and forget about external/dedicated graphic cards for a while.
