Hello, so I have a Gateway gm5632e. In the past couple weeks it turns itself off every hour due to unknown problems. So recently it turned off and won't start up. I get the error -
PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0f: Existing Intel Boot Agent.
No bootable device -- insert boot disc and press any key

I messed around with some of the bios and nothing seems to work. So I decide to open up my computer. Dear god I can't even explain to you how badly they lock everything up. It honestly looks like a jail cell. It seems everything is bolted in and is inside a metal sheath. If someone could help me out with: A- Possibilities on how to fix the login screen (where the media test failure, check cable etc comes up) so I acknowledge that it's not the hard drive, or B- how to take out the hard drive it would be MUCH appreciated.

This should tell you everything you need to replace the hard drive (my number one suspect here) http://support.gateway.com/s/Manuals/Desktops/8512418.p... - direct pdf link with a black, blank start page. Beginning on page 35 it tells you how to get into the computer and change parts
afterthought: You might want to save the pdf file onto a jump drive or other portable media for future reference - Gateway tends to pull the support info at about the 7 year mark, also the hard drive removal part is pg 47
