The 3.5g (blue light) and Black edition are the same mouse, except the Black edition is just aesthetically different.
If it lights up Green, you have the 2013 edition (should also say on the bottom). Differences to the previous ones is a rougher finish on the mouse, rubber side grips, a different LED colour and a pointlessly higher DPI sensor.

The Razer Synpase driver linked by Ared work on pretty much every Razer product, download that, it will figure out whats connected and work automatically (hopefully... The Synapse drivers dont have the best reputation).

Which mouse have you figured it to be?
Does it light up when plugged in?

I'v had a Deathadder 2013 die on me before, eventually needing to just be outright replaced. Started by just randomly disconnecting, then when I did plug it back in it wouldn't reconnect, light stopped turning on and eventually just died.

I figured out that it is the deathadder 3.5g version and is lit up and working but the driver just wont recognize it.

Edit: the firmware dosnt work not the driver

personally i think the synapse 2.0 program/drivers are utter garbage.

the old deathadder 3.5g has actual "drivers" you can download which do not include synapse and work perfectly fine. synapse tends to be rather buggy.

try uninstalling all of the mouse drivers and restarting. does your mouse at least work? if it does then try putting on the normal drivers (not synapse) does it work now?
