If you can wait, then do wait but reports are saying that the haswell pentiums would be nothing but rebranded Atom Chips which should not perform that good in my opinion.
But since none of the reports are confirmed, hence you should take it with a pinch of salt and waiting for the next gen pentiums would be the better option.
Another thing to consider is that nowadays games are starting to take advantage of more than 2 cores, hence any cheap quad core AMD CPU would be better for gaming than the dual core pentiums, so if you can spend a little more, then do get a cheap AMD quad core, like the Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition which is a beast for budget gaming.
Otherwise, just wait for the next gen Pentiums.

So much wrong with this post. The Haswell pentium processors are not relabeled Atom processors. Where did you even get that from? The Atom is going to 14nm this year.
Also Haswell dual cores rock an X4 965 in gaming. Look below. thats a 2.9Ghz Haswell dual core being tested

As one said, haswell is NOT a atom cpu (not even close). the haswell is the REPLACEMENT for the ivy bridge. A little faster than the older models. the intel cpus are far faster than a amd in gaming. Just look at the benchmarks on toms.

I never said that the Haswells are bad than atom but there are quite a lot articles on the internet that say that the next gen Intel pentiums would be nothing but atoms which would be rebranded into pentiums. There are a tonne of other articles suggesting the same. So there are some sources where i am getting that from. I do not say things without knowing them.
Though, nothing could be said about what the next gen pentiums actually come out to be. News like this should always be taken with a pinch of salt. You never know what the company actually might do at the time of launch.

For that price get a Intel Pentium G2020, it is the best you can get for about 4000 Rs.
But if you want to spend a little more like 1000 more then get a AMD FX 4300. It is much better than the pentium and with 4 cores it is the most adequate for gaming at that price.

is any core @ the range of 6000 INR...!!?
- a computer dealer said to me amd has the problem of temperature...when at load time the temperature of amd core will become very high and the perfomance get slow... and he said that intel may overcome AMD cores...!!! but my doubt.. future games want 4 core.... right? Dont knw i able to play future games with i3 + gtx 650....? or i want to go for 4 core amd?... BIG CONFUSION... (i3 can beat amd phenom x4)....
