helolo i am building a gaming PC, and i am trying to make it as cheap as possible. i have just realized that there is practically no difference between low and high settings in games like BF3, the only difference i see is that ultra is a bit darker. s here is my list:

AMD FX 6300
MSI Radeon 7770
G. Skill Ripjaws X series 4GB
Antec VSK-3000E
Asus M5A78L-M LX=$60
WD Black 320GB 7200RPM=$60
my friend is giving his PSU

total= $411

so will this be able to run upcoming games for about five years on low settings? thanks

I would say you're looking at the bare minimum to run today's games at the lowest settings. If you can't see the difference between low and high settings, you won't be disappointed by this system's performance probably. I can't say with any confidence that it will last for 5 years down the road, though.

What brand/size is the PSU you are getting?

On most games it's a huge difference. High resolution textures, shadow quality, ambient occlusion, draw distance, lighting effects... Some really noticeable ones I can think of are Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Rift, Battlefield 3, and Witcher 2.
