So I just Slied my 670 FTW. At first i used benchmarking programs like 3d mark and my score went up from 8500 with 1 card to 13000 with 2 gpu cards. But when im playing any of my games such as BF3, FC3 and League of legens i actually get no FPS increas, and sometimes the FPS actually dips lower then it did with 1 gpu card. I have tried everything but nothing works. I even got a NEW replacement card from EVGA cause i thought the second card i bought was borken but it still doesnt work. I reinstalled the nvidia driver with a clean install, i enabeled SLI in the nvida control panle, psych x is on auto detect, the SLI bridge ihas also been tested. MY CPU is defftnlty not bottlenecking, so does any one have any ideas. I was thinking if reinstalling windows 7 as a clean install would help.

I also borrowed my friends 850 watt Seasonic PSU cause i thought my 750 PSU might be a problem but the SLI was still acting the same way.

My rig:
AMD fx 8350 Oced to 4.5ghz
h80 water cooler
8gb vengence ram set to 1600
750 Watt PSU bronze
gigabyte 990fx-ud3
120 gb SSD
1 TB hdd
8 case fans

Solution

Just reinstalled windows 7, it looks promising. Just did my 3d mark and got a 13900 score. Gona try bf3 and FC3 now.

Yea im using geforce experience. Every thing was on ultra with my single gpu other then AA which is on 4x. It still on the same settings with my duel 670's. And the drivers are fully updated.

Its weird cause the SLI shows that its working for the bench marking programs but it just doesnt seem to do anything for my games. BF3 and FC3 also have SLI profiles in the new drivers i have.

I also forgot to mention that both cards are running at about 75 to 80 percent sometimes even 85 percent during games.

Sorry for posting on your thread without a clear answer but i've recently just installed a second 670 myself and I'm having the exact same issue. So i don't know i guess it will give you a bit of relief that you are not the only one and none of your components are defective.

Yeah im thinking its a Driver issue. What have you tried to fix it? So we can rule out certain thigs. Im going to re install windows and see if that works. Ill keep you updated.

Well I've tried rolling back to several drivers the best results I've seem to have were with 314.22 also changed my SLI bridge , I don't know if this applies to you but I have two different branded 670s one with a higher clock so i switched my GPUs around to see if that would help sadly it didn't, i've also replaced the modular pci cables on my psu and in nvidia control panel set max pre rendered frames to 1 and prefer maximum performance. still none really helped

So i reinstalled my windows 7 with the new GPU connected in. It works perfectly now. In BF3 i get like 160 FPS on ultra 10 80 P on multiplayer, it does drop to 60 though sometimes and i think its cause its multiplayer. And on single player i get a consistent 170 to 200 FPS, its crazy. Reinstall your windows with both cards connected.

Thats my 3d mark score. It Says i got higher score then 92 percent of all results so i guess its a win....lolol

I also did this firmware update which is only for EVGA gtc 670 cards if you have them.
