Does Adata external HDD worth money

I want to buy external HDD, I noticed that Adata made shock and water resistance external HDD. I want to know if they are worth money.

If you carry it around with you to places for example work, school, friend's house etc. it can be a good idea to have a case like that. It also depends on how important that data you have on there is. If is already backed up on another hard drive you could just get a normal case.
