When I render in cinema 4D with my new 3770k, and talk on skype, it says in skype ''the connection between you guys are bad'' and disconnects, but when i was using my old Athlon II (something) everything just got slower.. but the we didn't disconnect.. any ideas to why this happens?

clonic96,

If the Internet disconnect when rendering it may be that your rendering application is set / permitted to use all the CPU cores. Rendering is one of the few tasks that can use all the threads and the maximum core use is the default setting on several rendering applications. In many applications you can go to rendering settings and choose the number of threads manually. In my rendering I select 10 to 12 threads so the system has 6 to 4 threads for the OS and Internet and I sometimes do text related tasks when renderings are running.

Just a note, but if you do very large or high resolution renderings with all the threads running, keep an eye on system temperatures unless you already are very sure everything is in order...
