I have one SSD with Win8 Pro and one with Debian, using grub on boot to select which one. I am trying to install my Asus PCE-N15 into my Z87 motherboard.

After installing the driver and being asked to restart, I do so and select windows on boot. When it is restored and I log in, the window in the cards instructions asking if I'd like to enable it does not show up. When checking for the hardware it does not appear.

Where do I go from here? I'm currently unable to log in to Debian because the wireless keyboard I have doesn't (for some reason) work on the Linux login screen, so I am currently booting only to Win8.

The window with this option does not appear on reboot:

"6. After your computer reboots, select Use ASUS WLAN Utilities to allow the ASUS utility to manage your WLAN card."

Lights are not on. The computer isn't detecting the card. I am looking to connect to my PC first, I will worry about the actual wireless connection when I can get to that point.

After a bit of tinkering it seems the problem was a strange anomaly or I was doing something stupid of which I am clueless. Switched PCI slots, rebooted, and nothing still. Switched back, rebooted, and all of a sudden I'm up and running.
