I have an issue with my Hitachi Deskstar T7K500, Its partitioned at C: 250GB and D: 250GB. I have complete access to both drives but under the device manager the D Drive shows up under portable devices.

Here are two of the event details under the D drive

Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service WUDFWpdFs for Device Instance ID SWD\WPDBUSENUM\{73B93DB0-3549-11E2-BE65-806E6F6E6963}#0000003B78E00000 with the following status: 0.

and

Driver Management concluded the process to install driver wpdfs.inf_amd64_eed3b55c93d13d90\wpdfs.inf for Device Instance ID SWD\WPDBUSENUM\{73B93DB0-3549-11E2-BE65-806E6F6E6963}#0000003B78E00000 with the following status: 0x0.

I've thought of uninstalling and re installing the driver for the D drive under the portable drive section to see if it would fix the issue, but wasn't sure if it is safe to do so.

It really shows up as 250 GB and 250 GB's? not 250 and 235?
