PSU going bad or what?

Hello, i built a PC a while back and i'm using a corsair 500 watt anyways i don't think its working right.

Past few days at super random hours my pc will Freeze for a split second then reboot. its not all the time i could turn my pc on for 10 - 20 mins and use only google search and it can happen. It's random i could run it for 5 hours and be fine.

My temps are fine i checked my "ram" using the Windows memory test said 0 problems detected i'm using the kingstons hyperx blu.

Checked my hard drive seems to be fine.

I doubt its my CPU or anything the temps are normal running at idle around 12 c up i'm using the AMD fx4100

GTX 560 SE is the GPU i'm using... heres the weird part...

I checked my BIO's it said 11,925 or something on the 12v ...but when i use the HW software its saying 7.920 on 12?

Keep in mine i have 4 120 mm fans and a small LCD fan controller...

I already went ahead and ordered a 600 watt power supply and for if i ever upgrade my gpu but does this sound normal for a PC to do this when a psu is failing or isnting giving enough power? I did get BSOD maybe 4 times in the past but now its just freeze REBOOT at Random times i keep a eye on temps on my cpu gpu ect everything is running cool. any info would be great.

"Update" it just rebooted while posting this. "freeze" for a split second no BSOD "reboot" hit enter to start windows normally"

Yes, it is most likely a faulty power supply. Most random shutdowns/restarts are power related.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm just trying to narrow it down. Checking everything and so far its pointing towards my
    PSU.
