I recently build a PC with following specs:

Intel Core i7 4770
Asus Sabertooth Z87
8gb DDR3
1.5TB HDD
CM GX650
CM Storm Scout 2

Please suggest a GPU within $300
My first thoughts were AMD HD 7870, or GTX 660 non ti.
But I got tangled in the brands, ASUS, GIGABYTE, SAPPHIRE, HITECH, POWERCOOLER.. Please help me out.

Solution
If you want to SLI, you need to have the exact same card - it can be a different brand, but it must be the same chipset and have the same amount of VRAM, as well as clock speeds.
As for Xfire, there is a bit more flexibility, as you can mix certain cards - you don't need to use the same card.

+1 for the 760. Anyway, like the above poster said, if you're not overclocking, don't get a Z87 board. Get an H87 Board instead or change the CPU to 4770k :)

Nope, the brand of motherboard has no influence on the GPU, regardless of whether or not it is the same brand.

Obviously, the actual specifications of the motherboard is what you should be looking at :p
