System Specs:

ASUS M4A89GTD PRO USB3
GIGABYTE GTX 670 WIND FORCE X3
CORSAIR VEGENCE 8GB RAM
VERTEX 4 128GB SSD
SEAGATE 1TB HDD
AMD 1090T 3.2GHZ BLACK EDITION WITH HYPER 212+
CORSAIR STEALTH 700W

Okay, so I was able to use my multiplier and got my 1090T to 3.8ghz no problem. I started running into problems and was suggested I update my BIOS to the latest version. After doing this I have been completely unable to over clock my CPU as well as my RAM. Every time I attempt to overclock either it will either restart or I get a BSOD.

I set my BIOS to defaults and only over clock my RAM to 1600mhz. After doing this I get the BSOD. If I again default my BIOS and then only over clock my CPU using the multiplier then I get restarts.

If I leave defaults on and restart my computer works fine.

Anyone know how to fix my problem or what is causing this?

If so, what is a good voltage for 4.2ghz on a 1090T with hyper 212+ cooler if that is even possible on air. I also have a NXZT full enthusiast tower.

So I just tried something, I just over clocked my CPU to 3.9ghz successfully. Though now I have figured out it is just my RAM causing the problem. I can only set it to 1333mhz if I set any higher I get the BSOD or a restart after windows start up screen.

If there is a solution to this problem I'd gladly try it. As for now what is a good voltage for a 1090T to get to 4.2ghz with a hyper 212+ cooler if possible?

I took this off the ASUS website if it helps>
"4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1333/1066 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory
