If you are looking to play some offline games, some suggestions may be:

- Sims 3

- Age of Empires

- Don't starve

You should be able to run all of those games at a playable frame rate. It is good to play more storyline based games as you have the time but it also comes to the conclusion on what you are interested in :)

Although I know Don't starve should run offline, mine won't. How do you get it to run offline? Even in offline mode it still says no key server when I try to load :p

So when you try load the game in offline mode, the message broadcasted is "No key server"?

Fallout 3 and New Vegas are good. They can last a really really long time if you do lots of side-quests and that sort of thing.

something like yes. I thought there was only one key server error :p

I can check it later but I have DL's in progress at the moment.

Hmm, id probably play Fallout 1/2 in that case, assuming your laptop battery can hold for long or you have access to an energy source.

I did however travel once in a very nice train with power outlets and played on my laptop for the entire trip (about 2 hours only), and i recommend that you watch out for people, as they dont have any reason to be carefull atour YOUR laptop.
