Ive had this laptop for a couple years and recently I had it repaired because a couple pieces from the vent went into a fan but now its messing up again. Every time I turn it off without plugging the battery in it wont turn on again do I have to remove the battery for 24 hours or so & then when I put the battery back in it turns on fine. This has happened 2 or 3 times. Ive taking the battery out and holding the power button in but that doesnt work. & plugging the battery in and leaving it for a bit.
The reason is probably because your laptop battery is not charging.
If it is more than two years old it may be the case, as the battery deteriorates
after so many charge cycles.
It is more than likely the Laptop has an over charging protection feature, and it thinks the battery is faulty stopping the power up of the laptop.
The battery has reached a point where it wont hold any charge and resists it so the power circuit of the laptop is kicking in to prevent a fire ect.
Buying a new battery may be your solution if it does not charge any more, or when it has been charged only keeps the laptop running for a few minuets before going flat again.
Thanks so much for the feed back. That might be the case but its odd because when the laptop is on the charge is fine and stays on until I turn it off but then it won't turn on for a long time however when I turn it back on the charge resumes to where it was when I shut it off.
