League of legends ping help?

Hello, I have been having a lot of trouble with my ping lately on league of legends. My family has the triple play package on comcast. Whenever someone gets on Netflix in my house my ping skyrockets to 3000+. Or if someone other than me and my brother gets on the computer it skyrockets to 2000. Any tips or me to help fix it? My mom and I are goin to be looking at getting more bandwidth for our plan.

If you look into your router model and make and what speeds you can achieve upstream and downstream you may be able to setup a Quality of Service to assist with un-interrupted gaming for your pc

What bandwidth do you currently have? Streaming and that sort of thing can consume all available bandwidth on a connection, you will just have to increase the line bandwidth considerably. Nothing more can be done unless your ISP allows for gaming QoSing,which is doubtful.

If you have access to the router, depending on its software you can sometimes designate bandwith to where if will not let a certain device drop below a preset number. Now this may then anger the rest of the family b/c their movies will buffer/skip. I'd look into it, find a decent medium where they dont buffer too bad and your not rendered useless in League.
