LOL, I'm crazy confused on which card to buy!!!!!!

Do I get a 670, 680? Do I get 770 or 7970 GHZ, Do I get a 760 or 7950?

Is one way better than all the rest? Or are they all so close, it just comes down to price? I just want to make the correct choice, I only get one chance to get it right LOL

I'll spend what it takes, but I don't want to spend more than I need to, to achieve my goal

LOL I'm pulling my hair out. I don't really understand the hierarchy.

I know I want to be able to play the latest and greatest games on 1 monitor at 1900x1080

GTX cards are 256 2gb mostly

Radeon are 384 2-3 GB

It's for a new Haswell system i5 4670, 650 PSU

There's a point of diminishing returns as far as VRAM goes, at least at this point. The more VRAM you get, the more futureproof you'll be, but by that time, you may require a higher end interface like the AMDs 384 or higher... so I'll leave the recommendations up to others. Lots of people suggest 760 from what I've seen, but I'm an AMD guy so I'd probably say the 7970 GHz. Just depends on your budget, really.

If you have one screen don't spend the extra for a 4GB card, 2GB is plenty and anything higher is completely unneccessary. The AMD cards are rendered largely irrelevant at this point because of how recent the Nvidia cards have came out, two months ago they were easily on top but right now AMD needs to drop the price on their cards to stay competitive so don't bother with them.

The 760 is a really great card for the price, if price is a concern then go for that. The 770 performs better but doesn't provide the same price/performance, but if you want the extra FPS then theres that. Look for a card with a Gigabyte, Asus or EVGA cooler, but avoid blower style fans unless you have a cheap case.
