Just as the title says I cannot find any wire connected to the front USB ports that is labelled "USB" to plug into my motherboard. I have a giant plug in that they run into I'm guessing is a AC97? And an HD audio which I finally found the spot to plug it into. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131872 That's the one. I bought it since it says USB 3.0 on it. Also an adapter? Dun think so besides a small squarish metal piece that fell out but was ruled out as nothing on this site when asked about it. But no I don't think an adapter did come with it.

Gotcha..so I'm guessing the USB 3.0 they were talking about was the ones the motherboard came with but not an actual plug in for a USB 3.0. Great. Also thanks for the link! =) Well at least now I know. Though the rest of my parts come tomorrow so for the mean time I will have to use the computer without the front USB ports till I get the adapter.

Done lol very helpful. Though was I right in that the USB 3.0 they were advertising were the ones the motherboard came with for the rear side of the computer? If that's the case I wonder why in the heck they didn't provide a plug in for USB 3.0 for the front chassis >.>

I was actually talking about the motherboard. Then again you probably were talking about the motherboard. Shows how out of date I am since I'm moving on from a 2009 run of the mill factory made computer. So a USB 3.0 installed on the motherboard to use at the rearview with USBS is pretty new to me.

Edit: Oh yeah and I chose you for the best answer btw! =) Thanks again for clearing that up so quickly! Wasn't actually expecting a response at 12:30 am until morning.
