Cant find USB plug in for Corsair 300R case.

Just as the title says I cannot find any wire connected to the front USB ports that is labelled "USB" to plug into my motherboard. I have a giant plug in that they run into I'm guessing is a AC97? And an HD audio which I finally found the spot to plug it into. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

What's your motherboard? That big cable of the 300R is a 20pin usb3.0 cable, and your motherboard doesn't seem to have a 20pin usb3.0 header for that cable to be plugged in.

If Your mb missing the USB 3.0 header see if the mb vendor or case vendor sent a USB 3.0 to 2.0 adaptor.

Dun think so besides a small squarish metal piece that fell out but was ruled out as nothing on this site when asked about it. But no I don't think an adapter did come with it.

This board doesn't have a front usb3.0 header for the usb3.0 cable of Corsair 300R to be used. This case doesn't come with a usb3.0 header to 2.0 adapter also, so if you still want the blue usb3.0 port of this case to be usable, you'd need an adapter like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-Internal-Adapter-G11303050-RT/dp/B0098FSJ92/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1373260340&sr=8-13&keywords=usb3.0+20+pin+to+usb+2.0 But that port will only be usable at 2.0 speed.

Gotcha..so I'm guessing the USB 3.0 they were talking about was the ones the motherboard came with but not an actual plug in for a USB 3.0. Great. Also thanks for the link! =) Well at least now I know. Though the rest of my parts come tomorrow so for the mean time I will have to use the computer without the front USB ports till I get the adapter.

Done lol very helpful. Though was I right in that the USB 3.0 they were advertising were the ones the motherboard came with for the rear side of the computer? If that's the case I wonder why in the heck they didn't provide a plug in for USB 3.0 for the front chassis >.>

Nope, cases with usb3.0 cables that are connected through an usb3.0 port on the rear of the board are quite outdated now. 300R isn't in that list.

I was actually talking about the motherboard. Then again you probably were talking about the motherboard. Shows how out of date I am since I'm moving on from a 2009 run of the mill factory made computer. So a USB 3.0 installed on the motherboard to use at the rearview with USBS is pretty new to me.
