How loud is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, in terms of dBA (decibels)?

I have built two computers so far, both with two fairly "low level" CPU coolers. The first computer has a stock Intel CPU cooler, and it is pretty loud, at about 40 dBA. My second computer has a ARCTIC Alpine 11 GT Rev. 2, and it's about 25 dBA, so that's an incredible improvement.

So now I'm building another computer, and since this is a gaming PC (as opposed to work computers for the previous two), I'm thinking of getting the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. However, in the description, it says "9 - 36 dBA", which is a pretty wide range. So either the cooler is quieter than the 25 dBA that I have, or louder than it and closer to the 40 dBA that I have.

Can anyone with actual experience with the cooler indicate whether the fan is indeed quite quiet, even on high loads? I'm sure the cooler itself is amazing, and in terms of cooling (which I know is the primary concern), it probably does really well, considering all the praise that it has received. But I'm also a fan of a quiet PC, even for a heavy duty gaming PC, so I'm wondering if this cooler is the best for me.

Solution
On high loads that cpu fan will get up in the 35-7 dBA range, idle/low its more near 30. It is not totally silent, but is one of the most quiet air coolers for gaming purposes. If sounds is an issue closed loop water can be quieter, but can also be louder, its alot more unpredictable.

Okay thanks. Another option for myself, perhaps, is to get another one of those 25 dBA coolers that I have in my other PC. However, I doubt that it would perform nearly as well as the 212 under heavy loads?

Cheers thanks. I'm about to order within the hour and I'll go with the 212. It's not a huge risk I'm taking ultimately anyway, since it's one of the more inexpensive parts of my build.

I just got my Hyper 212 Evo last Tuesday it's barely perceptible to me. Even when I stress tested the CPU with Prime95, temps climbed up to 95C and I barely heard the fan. My case fans make more noise. You can swap out the fan for a quieter one if you choose, it comes with a bracket to attach another one, it'll accept any standard 120mm fan.
