So i know that when youre installing W8, the first account youre prompted to make is an admin account. If i make other standard privilege accounts, how can i download software from those standard accounts without logging into the admin account? Is the password of that first admin account the password that i will have to enter if i want to download stuff and do "admin only" things via standard accounts? If not, whats the password then? Any help?

An admin accounts password is whatever its set to... If you are under a standard account and need something to run as admin you must use AN admin accounts credentials. There us no "one" admin account, although you could certainly set it up that way. Standard accounts are kind of pointless unless you have kids

i know but first off, isnt the first account that Windows 8 makes you set up an admin account? I just want one admin account and the rest standard because the computer will be shared and i don't want them downloading stupid stuff and getting viruses. So i just need help with my question i originally put up top.

It would be the password you created for the first account. From there you will need to get to your control panel and access Users Accounts to make additional changes. Keep in mind though that it will take more then Regular vs. Admin accounts to prevent the other accounts from downloading anything. Some applications can get around the admin mode requirement as well.
